Content strategy · Copywriting · Creative direction · Raast, U Bank
U Bank was communicating Raast, Pakistan's instant payment system, across its digital channels. Raast allows people to send and receive money digitally, making payments faster and more convenient without relying on traditional payment methods.
The challenge was to make a financial product like Raast feel simple, useful and relevant to everyday users rather than overly technical.
Instead of communicating Raast through banking jargon, the content focused on what it actually makes possible for people.
The posts used simple messaging and everyday payment situations to explain the convenience of digital transfers and make Raast easier to understand.
I worked on U Bank's digital content calendar, developing social content around Raast and other banking products.
For Raast specifically, I worked on the creative ideas, copy and content direction, turning the product's features and benefits into social-first communication.
I also worked with the design team to translate those ideas into the final creative content and keep the communication consistent across the digital feed.
The Raast content focused on making the service easy to understand at a glance, using simple copy and visual storytelling to communicate its everyday use.

the thinking behind it
With financial products, the information can quickly become too technical.
The aim was to bring Raast down to the simplest question:
How does this make sending and receiving money easier for me?
From there, the content was built to explain the service in a way that felt natural to social media and easy for everyday users to relate to.
